Paris Animal Show

At the Paris-Versailles Exhibition Centre
More than 3000 pets, adorable hairy companions ready to give unconditional love, give you an appointment for this new show in Paris that should please the whole family. With more than 1000 cats on display, it will quite simply be the biggest cat show in Europe.
Chinese New Year in Paris
Date: Early February
The Chinese, Korean or Vietnamese New Year is also called Lunar New Year. The parades program take place in several corners of Paris, on different dates! Change of scenery guaranteed with parades, concerts, exhibitions, conferences, markets, dances, restaurant menus ... A festive event to share with the family.
Paris carnival
Date: End of February
The Paris Carnival is an opportunity to get out your best disguise and parade through the capital... Concerning the itinerary, it shouldn't change much: the departure is always from the Place Gambetta and ends on the Place de la République. Prepare your costumes!
International Agricultural Show
Date: End of February / Beginning of March
The Salon International de l'Agriculture is an annual exhibition fair held in Paris at the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre in the last week of February or the first week of March. It is the most important agricultural fair in France, very oriented towards the general public.
The Throne Fair in Paris
Date: End of March to end of May
The Throne Fair has grown steadily over the years and has multiplied its attractions more and more daring while keeping this tradition of popular fair. The Throne Fair is no longer just a fairground, it is the largest and most prestigious fairground amusement park in Europe. Come and test the rides and attractions installed on the Pelouse de Reuilly. A big opening party is organised on the first evening for the benefit of an association.
Price: Free entrance, paying attractions (on average from 2 to 10€). A pass is traditionally sold on the Internet between 26 and 30 €, including 10 free rides and 16 discount vouchers.
Opening hours: From noon to 11pm every day / From noon to 1am on Saturdays and the eve of public holidays.
Paris Gay Pride
Date: End of June
The Pride March has its origins in Gay Pride, born after the events of Stonewall in New York on June 28, 1969 ... Over the years, the movement has amplified and extended to many countries. It was not until 1981 to see the first March in France. This event, which is both demanding and festive, brings together more than half a million people every year.
Summer sales
Date: End of June to end of July
The summer sales are back. Their dates also apply to distance sales, especially those made via the Internet. Seasonal sales now last 4 weeks, compared to 6 weeks previously. One out of every two buyers plans to go to the store on the first days of the sales.
Night at the Invalides
Date: Beginning of July to end of August
La Nuit aux Invalides returns with a new version of Lutèce to tell the 350th anniversary of the foundation of the Hôtel National des Invalides. Relive in 50 minutes the history of this emblematic place, the history of Paris and the history of France! Come and travel through 3000 years of history in this timeless place, from the Gauls to Louis XIV.

Ganesh feast
Date: Beginning of September
The Feast of the god Ganesh, the elephant god, celebrated each year in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. On the program: religious celebrations and a very colorful parade. Lord Ganesh is the son of the deities Shiva and Parvati. Symbol of love and knowledge, this God-child with the head of an elephant is, for the Hindus, at the origin of the world and of all the events of life.
Wedding Fair
Date: Mid-September
At the Porte de Versailles Exhibition Centre
From the wedding announcement to the honeymoon trip, through the choice of the dress, jewellery, bouquets and other wedding meals, this fair takes stock of all the new trends, thanks to the numerous exhibitors present on site.
Techno Parade
Date: End of September
As every year at the same period, electro music lovers meet in Paris to dance to the rhythms of beats swayed by the floats of the Techno Parade.
To us the tanks equipped with sound system and broadcasting sounds ranging from house to electro by crossing the sounds of dubstep and drum'n bass!
In 2015, the Techno Parade brought together a record number of 400,000 people, who came to dance to the sounds of 60 djs, present on 10 different floats.
Heritage Days
Date: End-September
The big cultural event of the new school year. More than 17,000 monuments will be open to the public and more than 26,000 events focusing on youth and heritage will be offered in mainland France and overseas. Paris offers visitors and the curious to discover its heritage free of charge through a host of activities for all ages.
Animation film festival
Date: All the month of October
Nearly 200 cultural venues across France are mobilizing to offer screenings and events. Nearly 80,000 spectators of all ages are expected in theaters to discover a booming genre, of notable vitality, ceaselessly innovative and constantly renewing.
On the program: screenings of rare or unseen films, previews, tributes, retrospectives, discoveries of young talents, film concerts, meetings, exhibitions, demonstrations, workshops ...
Whiskey Live Festival

This festival dedicated to whiskey and fine spirits brings together whiskey lovers and more than a hundred exhibitors. On the program: tastings of whiskeys from around the world, meetings and discussions (masterclasses) and experiences ... We should also mention the whiskey collectors corner.
Paris Motor Show

The Mondial de l'Automobile is the unmissable event for all professionals in the global automotive industry. The Harvest Festival

Since 1934, in October, the Clos Montmartre wine has been celebrated during 5 joyful days of popular celebration where taste and gastronomy are in the spotlight! The third most frequented Parisian event, 500,000 visitors are again expected on the streets of the Butte.
Exhibitions, live shows, music, parades, ball, tastings of artisanal and local products and various activities are on the menu every year to delight young and old, tourists and Parisians.
Oktoberfest, beer festival in Paris

Since 2015, Oktoberfest, Munich's famous beer festival, has been exported to Paris. It is celebrated in Bavarian fashion, in an original Munich "beer tent" accommodating a thousand people, with typical Bavarian decoration, traditional dishes and drinks, Bavarian music and bands ...

Paris Marathon
Date: Mid-October
The Paris Marathon offers a unique opportunity to make the city your own, by taking part in one of the most challenging races over the mythical distance of 42.195 km. Today it is one of the most important marathons in the world.
Start of the race at 8.30 am, on the Champs Elysées. More than 45,000 runners are expected from the Avenue des Champs Élysées to the Avenue Foch, passing through Bastille, Vincennes, the Tuileries... This event offers a decor full of animations all more popular than the others. Nearly 150 nationalities will compete in the 42.195 km of the legendary Parisian event.
Note that the Running Exhibition at the Porte de Versailles, which precedes the Marathon by a few days, has also become an unmissable event, bringing together more than 80,000 visitors and over 200 running professionals.

Paris Games Week is the great celebration of video games. Every year at Paris Expo - Porte de Versailles, it brings together all the diversity of video game culture. Players, families, cosplayers and the curious come together every year to share a moment of total immersion in the world of video games. Manufacturers, publishers, studios and accessories manufacturers meet to present the new releases at the end of the year.

Soccer Game Paris Saint Germain (Parc des Princes)
PSG has become a world-class football team, bringing together internationally known players. Many people come to Paris to go to the Parc des Princes and watch a match of their favorite team. A game at the Park is a unique and unforgettable experience, to be enjoyed absolutely!
Rolland-Garros
The French Open tennis tournament takes place at the Roland-Garros Stadium in Paris. The stadium was named after Roland Garros, hero of World War I and aviation pioneer killed in an air battle.
This tournament is the second grand slam of the year and the only grand slam tournament on clay. Playing on clay is a very physical exercise for the players and particularly entertaining for the public.
Summer Festivals
The music festival
Date: June 21 (first day of summer)
Usually held around June 21st in Paris, it is possible to attend at the town hall, in the 4th district of Paris, as well as in some emblematic districts: Bastille, République but also on the different spots of Paris Plage. In fact a little everywhere in the capital which is taken by storm by La Musique.
Solidays Festival
Date: End of June
Celebrated at the end of June since 1999, the Solidays festival brings together every year some of the most important pop rock artists. Organised on the Longchamp circuit, it is now one of the most important events in Paris. Solidays is an event dedicated to the fight against AIDS, and the funds raised are donated to associations.
The Fnac Live Festival
Date: Early July
It takes place at the beginning of July, has the advantage of bringing together a large number of artists and musicians of the moment. Often French but not only. They can be found on the town hall square, recently renovated and pleasant to visit near the quays of the Seine.
Lollapalooza Festival
Date: Mid-July
The legendary American Lollapalooza festival comes to Europe. Faithful to its principles, Lollapalooza boasts a programme that mixes musical genres and styles...

Paris Jazz Festival

The Paris Jazz Festival is a jazz festival created in 1994. Its programming is mainly composed of jazz artists, but also opens up to other subgenres of Afro-American music (blues, soul, rhythm and blues) and world music. The Paris Jazz Festival has risen to the top of the list of summer events devoted to jazz in France with more than 110,000 spectators per season.
Rock en Seine

Rock en Seine is now THE last big rock event of the summer in France and is one of the most important festivals in Europe! This new edition promises to be very beautiful, very rock, and should still attract more than 100,000 festival-goers.
